Liked: The staff wee v kind and friendly and the breakfast was great. The room was comfortable and clean but the terrace was very disappointing and the machines in the gym were not working

Disliked: Hand held shower no rail to hold it on. Maybe missing very odd. Maybe just my room? Pool was cold not 26 degrees.

Beautifully modern and spacious room...

Liked: Great family room, lots of nice facilities / amenities in the room and very clean. A high standard modern room. Our children loved the mezzanine floor and balcony. Very spacious. The hotel has lots of character but has been modernised well. Lovely bar area and little leisure spaces. Beautiful looking and new pool with mood lighting, but there were negatives to the pool. Great staff and service.
Disliked: The curtains didn’t fully close due to the odd shape of the windows / traditional French doors which would have caused a problem if sleeping in until daylight. Due to the time of year and time we had to leave the hotel this wasn’t an issue. Due to the old style full length French doors / windows the sound proofing wasn’t very good and lots of traffic noise could be heard until very late and from very early. The pool was very cold and couldn’t really be used to enjoy despite being indoors and advertised as heated.
