Disliked: Older rooms are not decorated to the high standard of the modern ones shown in the main booking.com listing. Also the bar is not open all weekend, just for other travellers who might have missed these details.

Liked: The hotel is in a great location. It's an easy walk to Milano Centrale Station and a pretty easy walk to the centre of Milan.We were in one of the older rooms but it was still in excellent condition, just not as stylish as the newer refurbished ones. The breakfast was good with some hot dishes as well as the usual Italian continental selection.

Liked: The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable, with a wonderful lounge/ seating area and a fantastic outside space that we utilised each evening. However, the staff are what really made the stay worthwhile. At reception everything was explained well and their hospitality was excellent. I would like to say that the staff member Roberto, from the bar/kitchen, went above and beyond his duties in making us feel welcome and explaining the best areas to go and when to go to them. He took his time and was patient with all of my questions as a first time visitor. I cannot recommend this hotel enough and plan on being a repeat customer for all future trips to Milan.
Disliked: I have no complaints about the property.
