Very convenient for onward travel

Liked: The hotel is very convenient for onward car journeys, bring very close to Interstate 95. The bed was big and comfortable. The free airport shuttle service can save you a bit of money. Breakfast was plentiful.
Disliked: Although my room was pretty high up, noise from the interstate was constant, even at night. The breakfast offerings were perhaps a bit basic. The free airport shuttle service stops at a certain time in the late evening, and my flight was delayed so I was unable to use it. However an Uber from Fort Lauderdale Airport wasn't very expensive.

Liked: Location was convenient and our room was clean.
Disliked: Our room key card kept getting demagnetized or something which was frustrating and our door had obviously been misused previously so didn’t feel as secure as it was supposed to for sure. I’m not sure if the staff was overwhelmed however, upon arrival, I stood in line for minimum 20 minutes as the two who were working the desk chatted amongst themselves and completely ignored me. Finally, I asked if there was an issue, cause I thought maybe a system issue and the response that I was given was “oh I didn’t know you were waiting, I thought you were with the people I was standing with”. Apparently they didn’t notice there was not a word of conversation with any of them. I was under the impression they may have been a bit short-staffed as there were a number of people waiting in the lobby to get to their rooms long after what was supposed to be the check in time. I thought it was pretty disrespectful and not professional. It was nice that they had shuttles services at a reasonable price to get to and from the airport as well as the cruise port terminal.
