Liked: Loved the staff (especially Traci.) very friendly and helpful. Also the breakfast was very nice. And the breakfast was fantastic and accommodating.
Disliked: Hot water was lacking on final day. Of course it was very early in morning post Mardi Gras and there could have been lots of showers taken in the wee hours as revelers washed the party away before bed.

It's practical to stay up...

Liked: I liked that the breakfast was well served, the parking ticket wasn't that expensive per day, and the hotel is close to the french quarter.
Disliked: One of the two days that we stayed, the city had a precautionary boil water advisory and we couldn't have coffee, tea or juice because they wouldn't use their bottled water to heat it in the machines in order to give us a better experience. They just said that the machines couldn't work. The problem was that we had to ask in order for them to offer us bottled water, cause no one in the hotel warned us about the issue, they just printed a paper and posted it on the breakfast table. The room wasn't too clean, the sheets didn't smell nice, and they didn't clean it every day, which they don't say on advance on the booking page or the hotel site. In the patio we saw a rat, so that was disgusting. The hotel was in construction when we stayed, so that was a nuisance as well, and for all of this inconveniences they didn't offer neither a better solution, nor any type of discount.
