Liked: Very friendly staff; comfortable room; great breakfast.
Disliked: ConcertHotels state free breakfast and parking! Only a 25 space car park so had to park in street for £6. Hotel say they never offer free breakfast!

Lovely hotel - worth checking...

Liked: Clean, bright and quiet room, tasty breakfast. Staff efficient and helpful. Bed comfortable and shower hot. Tea and coffee in room. Very convenient for bus into centre but lovely boutique shops within walking distance.
Disliked: Nothing

Lovely old-style hotel with modern...

Liked: Very nice 'old-style' hotel but very tastefully modernised. I had an executive room (I think) and it was very nice and spacious, with a separate working area and a great bathroom. The location is great, away from the tourist hustle but ideal for the south of the city, the West end and university area. The breakfast was very nice with freshly cooked option as well as large buffet.
Disliked: The water pressure in the shower was a bit weak. I had a room to the front with great view over the park, but also facing a busy road so it's a matter what you prefer. The location may not be so convenient for those who want to be in the 'city centre'
