Liked: The staff were super friendly and helpful. We came for a hockey tournament. The rooms are large and clean with no nasty carpet. Breakfast was decent and hot. Lots of options.
Disliked: Nothing really.

Pretty good!

Early check -in fee is...
Liked: We booked here because our normal accommodations were fully booked. Room was clean and beds and pillows comfortable. The breakfast was substandard. Hashbrowns were crusty; scrambled eggs were flaky; bacon was thin and greasy. I put it in the garbage and had a muffin.Limited fruit options.
Disliked: We had finished our business and arrived at the hotel at 3:20, 40 minutes early for a 4:00 check-in. Reception advised us that we could check in early but there would be an early check-in fee of $30 plus taxes. We left and came back after 4:00. This policy is not common in the industry as most hospitality managers would consider it counter-productive.Note: I have been in the hotel business and operated limited service hotels that received local, provincial and national awards for BBEX business excellence, customer service, HR development and marketing. While the Destination Marketing Fee (DMF) was not disclosed, we paid it because it is good for the industry.
