Liked: Bedroom was large with an extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent, good selection and all fresh.
Disliked: I was completely happy with my stay and would have no hesitation about returning.

Comfortable

Liked: The bed is possibly the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in!!! I’ve stayed in another hotel down the road from Keavil House and had to leave early due to the awful bed, so this was a most welcome surprise!!
Disliked: The only complaint I could possibly have is that there was no cold water! All the taps ran hot!

Super hotel and great staff

Liked: All members of staff were extremely pleasant, friendly and most helpful. Exceptionally so!Leisure facilities were splendid.
Disliked: Disappointed to be served a bottle of warm white wine with our meal. That's a silly mistake and an easy fix!Secondly it won't change what you do but there's a whole world of tastier beers out there to have available at the bar than what is on tap. Why such a lack-lustre offering?

Pleasant

Liked: Comfortable, large clean rooms.
Disliked: Pool rammed with swimming lessons Sunday mornings - we were unable to use the pool on the Sunday at all as lessons finished at 12 and check out is 11am. Saturday lessons started at 9 so at least we got 30 mins in before.Sauna was out of order.Gym was well equipped though. Food in the restaurant was average - chips undercooked and bland fish cakes . Overall nice hotel let down by substandard food and leisure facilities shared with public

Disliked: Very disappointed with breakfast on the Sunday morning. Four of us went for breakfast at 9.30 am. The dining room was extremely busy and there were no available tables for our group , which included my elderly father aged 94. He had to sit on his walker while a table was cleared. Our hot drink order failed to appear until we reminded staff that it hadn’t arrived and we had almost finished our food. We were charged extra for coffee on top of the breakfast price, a complimentary coffee, given the wait, would have been appreciated.The selection of food was sparse. Fresh fruit was limited to a slice of melon and a few grapes on the tray, this was not replenished.We had to request bowls for cereal and some butter which had run out.The hot food was in sort supply, only one serving of scrambled egg left and the poached eggs were like hard boiled eggs as a result of been kept warm in water. There was not enough food for our group, two of us just had egg and toast because of the lack of food. This should not happen, I do appreciate that waste should be at a minimum but there should be enough for all guests to have a full breakfast.There were no bread rolls, pastries etc, just some bread available. Having stayed with you on numerous occasions, we were so disappointed with breakfast quality and quantity of choice. Breakfast was booked the previous night so the number of guests would have been know and should have been catered for appropriately.The staff were doing their best but I would suggest they were inexperienced and short handed.Just not the breakfast that we have previously enjoyed in your establishment. Very dissatisfied customer.

Superb

Liked: Really enjoyed our first stay in the hotel and we will be back next time we're in the area. All staff were friendly and helpful, during breakfast there were lots of them helping us out. We asked for fresh strong coffee at breakfast and this was done with no fuss and very quickly. We enjoyed the use of the leisure facilities as we arrived early which was a great way to unwind after a 3 hour drive.
