We had mice in the hall by our room. Later in the evening we were just watching TV and more mice came running out by the desk. This made for a difficult sleep. Not what you expect when you are staying a night to relax and avoid stress.

Overall it was a good hotel to stay at and very convenient. It was very close to the mall and restaurants. Also the Halifax Forum.

Liked: It was near all the places we wanted to go.
Disliked: The entrance to our room was from outside. Therefore to go anywhere in the hotel we needed to go outside.

Disliked: It was too stuffy in the hotel, heating was up very high. The windows in our room were not clean which was unfortunate because its a beautiful view lakeside but everything else was good

Disliked: Policy of credit cards checking in - I never have a problem using my father's card at check in but I was denied any type of solution unless he was present, usually a phone call is sufficient. This caused extreme stress and frustration and delayed our check in by over an hour.

Our stay was very relaxing....
