Liked: It was perfectly located just 3 miles from our destination. With all the new growth and construction going on in Reno, Boomtown was a relaxing, quiet place we gladly called home for the 5 days we were there.
Disliked: Upon checking in, the person at the front desk seemed a little disturbed I was checking in at 2 am, following a 12 hour drive there. Had to go to front desk once to get towels because none were left for us. The male housekeeper "sighed" at my husband. Apparently my husband didn't put the dirty towels where he wanted them.

Liked: Nothing. It’s the most uncomfortable, unclean and filthy property.
Disliked: It’s the most uncomfortable, unclean and filthy property. Rooms were nothing like the picture. Paid for a view room and it didn’t even have a window. There is dirt and smell. Asked for non smoking. Room smelled of cigarettes.

Average stay, fun center is...

Liked: Fun center at hotel.
Disliked: Very difficult to find parking and room was really small and swimming pool was closed.

Exceptional

Liked: The room was clean and comfortable. The bed comfy...the bathroom spacious and clean. Room service food was great!
Disliked: We were there in the office season and some of the amenities weren't available, understandably so!

Pay the extra money to...

Liked: Liked that there is a coffee shop & Mels Diner on the property, so eating was highly convenient. Arcade, could use a bit of an upgrade, along with the snack bar area actually having snack items that are available.
Disliked: Didn’t like the fact you could hear every person that walked by your room, walls are thin. Beds are very low & highly uncomfortable. Rooms are squished in size, if traveling with a group for one room, highly recommend reserving a conjoined room to have more space. Ceilings in hallway & room are very low. Bathroom is tight, getting in & out the shower was tricky, had to be very cautious to not slip. The air vent for bathroom did not work at all. Pool was not available for use which was not relayed to us when reserving our room stay. Upon check in, male clerk was highly rude & not friendly at all. Elevators are beyond small. With all the space that is given, no reason to have such a small elevator, especially with the flow of guests. I personally wouldn’t choose this location again when in Reno. I’ll happily pay the double amount on a different hotel.
