Disliked: Given the wrong room even after booking almost a year in advance and sending messages to Best Western. Given free breakfast voucher when the restaurant was closed. Fire alarm went off at 10.30 pm frightening my wife who uses a wheelchair plus I have written to Best Western and had no reply and I’m sure I wil get no reply to this message.

Disliked: Carpet in hallway needs to be taken up or replaced (Makes the hallway smell mildewed).Restaurant wasn't open at all during our stay.

Liked: The location was excellent, right on the beach and the beach bed was included in the cost. CVS was right across the street
Disliked: The hotel needs to change the carpets in the rooms. Because of the high humidity, the carpet smelled bad, like mold or old carpet. Towels could be upgraded. The fridge was leaking in our room, phone buttons to call the front desk or room service were disabled, and the bed sheets on the sofa were not fresh. When we pulled the couch there was hair on the sheets. The windows were screwed and no ability to open a window to get fresh air. With smelly carpet, we had to breathe unhealthy air with low oxygen. Read any manual, AC doesn't bring the flow of new oxygen, it only cools and recirculates the existing air in the room, full of carbon dioxide, which is not healthy. Whose stupid idea was to hammer the windows, so people can't open to ventilate?
