Exceptional

Absolutely stunning breath taking views...

Liked: It was perfect as it was in DOWNTOWN Sedona. I would have liked a slightly more comfortable bed. The breakfasts were fabulous as was the staff and we received so much information from all of them ie places to see and how to get there, places to eat and even when to leave for Phoenix for our flight back home. The reason we chose Best Western Plus was the VIEW.

Don't mind paying for good...

Liked: location and view
Disliked: For the price the quality of the accommodations were low. The bath and bed linen in the room was old, low quality and not comfortable. All decorations and furniture needed updating.

Bad

Liked: I did not park on your property and would like a parking refund or I will have no choice but to do a chargeback for not only the parking but also the misleading website speaking of how great the place was when in reality it was not only terribly dated but filthy as well. Not only did you have to hold down the lever on toilet in a bathroom to make it flush, and you honestly couldn’t turn around in. The room came with two remote controls for one tv with no instructions as to how to operate at all. This all coupled with the fact you are charging $550.00 per night. I had just came from Vegas where I had a wonderful suite for $400.00 per night that made this place look even more like a dump.Again I am asking you to refund this parking fee or I will be left with no other options than to do a chargeback and go to social media to express my displeasure in the property. Please also know that I not only took pictures but also videos as well. I am certain Best Western would be very disappointed in the condition of the hotel room with their name on it. It was nice. Nice view,...

Liked: The hotel is located in beautiful Sedona Arizona where every view is stunning., The hotel location was close to main street so my disabled wife could walk to many stores
Disliked: No staff to help us with our bags when we arrived on a snowy slippery Friday night. 1 man working behind the counter and no one else present to assist us. The driveway to the parking area is a very slick slope in the snow. No refills on coffee

We might stay again due...

Liked: At first, it seemed so lovely. We especially liked the babbling creek. However, the room was quite dirty - the carpet didn't look like it had been vacuumed, the bathroom door was gross, the bathroom wall was dirty, and there was no shampoo.
Disliked: The cleanliness of the room.

Was nice and the view...

Liked: Amazing views
Disliked: When we went down to the pool, we mistakenly forgot to take our paper from check in, and the oriental lady was rude and obnoxious, not very friendly at all. The next day we went down and the other lady was so nice and didn’t even care if we had the paper or not.

Average accommodations with excellent views...

Liked: We stayed in the hotel portion. The location is perfect in the Uptown Sedona area convenient to everything. The view is excellent and nice for watching the sun rise and set. The outside patio area is equipped with chairs and small table. There is a blow dryer, coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave provided. The location and view make up for fair to average accommodations when the room is mainly needed for sleep. The morning breakfast is excellent buffet with fruit, yogurt, eggs, waffles, etc. At the front desk, Brody took excellent care of us and helped us several times.
Disliked: The rooms are typical of a hotel and the things that make it a 3 vs 4 or 5 star will always be the furnishings and touches. Assuming the hotel corrects the maintenance issues we encountered, here is what you can expect. The linens are average and you will receive adequate towels upon arrival. The toilet is 14" off the ground, so if you are older, you will feel this one. They are upgrading the TVs and I would tell them the TV is fine, replace the toilets to an adult size. The decor, countertops, tile, and fixtures are old and updating would improve desirability. During a 3-night stay, we had one room servicing and that was fair as they didn't leave wash clothes, left a dirty cup out, empty one trash can, and no bed change. There is a $21/day parking fee I didn't see mentioned, but it is probably in the fine print.
