Liked: Room was very big, with four poster bed and seating area. Staff were lovely and very helpful if you asked for something. Dog was made very welcome.
Disliked: Food was average and pool was a bit chilly. Coffee ordered and paid for at the bar tasted of nothing.

Liked: Lovely breakfast, easy parking even though not free. Bed comfy, staff friendly.
Disliked: Our room was cold, the heater didn't work and the maintenance person was on a day off. They did offer to move us but we were going to a wedding and would have been too much of a rush.They had also had to use a plug in air freshener due to a smell outside which was really overpowering and uncomfortable to breathe in, and lingered even when I put it outside the room.

Great value for money in...

Liked: Lovely location and although within easy walking distance of all of the shops, train station etc. it was nice and quiet. Perfect base for visiting the Bath Christmas market and other attractions - very quick and easy to get to Bath by train and not have to worry about parking.Great breakfast served, comfortable bed and leisure factilities, although small, were clean and nice to use.
Disliked: We were staying in the separate block where the pool and gym are...luckily it wasn't raining, but a covered walkway to get to reception and the dining room would be useful for when it's cold and wet...or umbrellas by the door?

Liked: Great location staff friendly but professional nice comfortable atmosphere in barroom good size, great showerbed very comfortable extra towel for pooltoiletries provided in showerno noise from adjoining roomsdinner menu limited however the Angel burger was great. restaurant waitress super smart and friendly good breakfast. breakfast waitress super lovely would stay again reception staff super lovely
Disliked: swimming lessons in pool although instructor was great and quite nice to see children learning to swim. quite noisy though (think lessons were post school day).mini fridge would have been good. I like to have fresh milkonly 4 pots of uht! minimal supply of tea/coffee as usual for chain hotel pet hate is dry bacon! obviously cooked to far in advance. breakfast commences at 7am. I attended at 7.10 bacon dried out. bit picky I know but expected to be moist as down early restaurant area is a bit tired rooms could do with a spruce up and a bit of detailed cleaning apologies for last comment but, have (many years past) been engaged as a hotel housekeeper
