Great time in a warm...

A peaceful, comfortable overnight stay...

Liked: The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. Friendly, quick check-in where I was told they had upgraded me to a superior room. There was a lovely Christmassy feel in the reception areas. My room was beautiful and the bed really comfy. It felt like a 5 star hotel and there are so many buses along the Hagley Rd, it was easy to get to my reunion and back without a taxi!
Disliked: Everything was great

Liked: The room was warm and cosy, the reception area and bar were very nicely decorated for christmas. It's a lovely building but the room furniture is very dated. Great value for whar we paid though I wouldn't bother with breakfast again.
Disliked: There were not enough staff, nobody at reception unless you phoned and breakfast had all but run out when we came down half an hour before the end. No staff in sight to restock, nobody in reception. We had to wait for someone to appear but they did restock I instantly on arrival.

Nice place, but not comfortable...

Liked: Nearto tram station, very beautiful lobby,
Disliked: There is no isolation so if anyone walk near to door, you can hear every feet step because it’s old building, so it doesn’t comfortable for sleeping.And also, you can’t change the room temperature
