Liked: The staff couldn’t have been friendlier and the coffee at the front desk was wonderful . We had no electricity at home due to an ice storm and the comfort and warmth of the facility were very welcome

Liked: Clean and close to our family’s home. Really liked that we could choose to have housekeepers take out garbage and replace towels daily. Breakfast was really good.

Liked: Rooms were clean. Good location for skiing at Boyne Highlands/Nub's Nob. Staff were kind when I interacted with them.
Disliked: This is a very old-fashioned cheap motel with a Best Western badge slapped on the front, which is not actually all that cheap. Walls are very thin: your neighbors will hear every word you speak and vice-versa. Breakfast was average, despite the staff making a big deal of using "farm fresh eggs." Pool was too cold to swim in, hot tub was so chlorinated that it made my skin itch. The runway at Harbor Springs airport is 500 meters from the property line, air traffic can be LOUD. Bathroom was recently refreshed, but shower had no door or curtain, so water got everywhere. Manager left me a nasty little sticky note on my second day, accusing me of moving a cable conduit on the wall, which was already falling off when I got there. That also means a manager was poking around in my room when I wasn't there...which made me feel uneasy, to be honest. For the rates this property charges in the high season, it doesn't feel like good value for money, unless an 8-minute drive to the ski slopes is your highest priority. I probably won't stay here again.
