Poor

Liked: Pool and hot tub but hot tub didn’t have bubbles.
Disliked: Uncomfortable beds, dusty unclean room, horrible breakfast.

Filfthy, rude staff, neglected facility…awful...

Liked: The gal who checked us in, I believe her name was Brittany, was super helpful and friendly. I called weeks in advance to request an early check-in for my daughter’s birthday. I was told it shouldn’t be a problem but to call the day of to be sure. I called that morning and she told me to call back around 12:30 and they would do their best to accommodate. I was super understanding if they couldn’t accommodate and was very surprised and thankful when I called back and she told me they had our room ready. I brought them donuts as a courtesy to show them my gratitude. She was super nice and upbeat at check-in. We talked about the reason for my visit (my daughter’s 10th birthday with a few friends) and she told me how she just moved back within the last year from NC. That was my most pleasant experience about the entire stay.
Disliked: I never leave reviews; good or bad. But I feel I should warn people of the experience I had before anyone spends money and waste their time like I did. The entire facility was gross. The hallways, dirty. The bathroom in the pool facility had feces all over (we reported it to the front desk (who was different from the morning staff member) and they never bothered to have it cleaned even hours later); our room was clearly not cleaned to standard; though I was grateful they got our room ready early I didn’t want it at the cost of cleanliness and I expressed that when I called. There was tape still on headboards and window banisters, the bedding was dirty, floors dirty, gunk on the furniture and nasty stains on the lampshades like they have never even been cleaned, broken lights and burned out lights, the sliding door to the patio was almost impossible to use; there was stains on the walls - it was just filthy. Disgusting. I also didn’t like the evening staff. There was one older lady in particular who was really nasty to me. I was walking one of my friends daughters out front to meet her mom because she decided not to stay and she scolded me in front of her and her mom about if we were having a birthday party. I said yes simply because it was my daughter’s birthday and she was having friends stay at the hotel with us for her birthday - there was some decorations hung, food, cake and a sleepover. I booked this room months in advance and was very open about the reasoning. She informed me they have a “no party and event policy” and was very nasty about it while pointing to a small printed piece of paper taped to the counter on a part of the desk not obvious to customers; also on the part of the desk I was not serviced at when I checked in. Therefor I never saw it. Nor did any one of the representatives that took care of me the months leading up or that day ever mention this said policy but instead let this lady scold me in front of my guests mother.

It was a nice place...

Liked: the breakfast is a normal continental breakfast, eggs, sausage, waffles, and the small extras
Disliked: had a few issues in the bathroom but they was going to get things fixed after we checked out, they did offer to change the room but it was not that bad of issues to change the room.

Very disappointing Spring break get...

Liked: The facility was clean and the staff was very geniune. We went there for Spring break with kids and we knew they had a pool room with a nice pool and hot tub!
Disliked: The pool water was very cold at 76 degrees, brrrr, and no heat at all in the room! If you wanted to be warm you could sit in hot tub and out of hot tub a coat was needed.
