Liked: Leaving.
Disliked: The hotel is under construction. They have the halls filled with tools, cords, and debri. They gave us jointing rooms that were "supposed" to be ready. New bathrooms, etc... hmmm, if pictures are accepted, I will include them. The shower was DIRTY, AND SOMEONE USED IT prior to use coming. Their wash rag hung in the shower, doors were spotty, the shower floor was nothing but dirty, black workers dort. A towel hung in the bathroom to dry.The sink, when turned on, had PURE ORANGISH BROWN WATER ! Toilet seat had brown stuff on the seat!Mens pj pants and socks laid on the floor, and what looked like black dog hair was between the blanket and sheets.I should the people at the deck the pictures. She didn't seem surprised and said she would do her best to clean the room while we were out eating.3hrs+ later we return to our hotel room to the same conditions and a note that says please come to the front desk we want to change your room!She told me I didn't feel like cleaning it, so I will just move you to room 112. What?! Even they thought it would take too much time to clean or was just being lazy ....We went into room 112, and as SOON AS WE OPENED THE DOOR, we were knocked in the face with CIGARETTE SMOKE.GUYS, I CAN'T MAKE THIS UP IF I WANTED TOO.The bathroom was cleaner, then room 120 but not cleaned feom the debri from construction. The water was still orangish brown there, too. The sink had crackers all in it.Oh, and they light switch didn't work upon walking in. God only knows what or who could have been in our room.We told the front desk again and their reply...Oh, we know, and we won't bill you for anything broken. Everything is messed up! What??We slept on top of the covers, we set our alarms to get up and get out as early as possible.This was nothing short of a horror movie. I wouldn't be surprised if some have been hurt from their lack of housekeeping or worse.As you walked the halls...

Fine after they sent us...

Liked: Sent us to a room n/aFacility under renovation, unsafe & dirty, dusty. Lobby having floor replaced air was dusty felt unsafe to breathe.
Disliked: Under construction & selling rooms, toilets in hallway. Checked us in like we could actually stay there.

not Pleaseant

Liked: The staff was Friendly, and the location is good, but being under construction/renovation really is not great
Disliked: It is under Construction so it was not confortable, there was no hot water to shower, there was no breakfast even it was advertised as such.

Liked: The location for us was perfect and the room was great we got the large jacuzzi suite great room.
Disliked: They failed to mention when I rented the room from South Carolina online that there was construction going on and the halls and pool area were full of construction materials. The trash outside the building was just ridiculous and unnecessary.the jacuzzi tube in the suite left some type of rust or brown gook in the bottom after use. Had we known of the construction we would have stayed elsewhere. Plus, they did not put much into the breakfast either. I'm sure when all the remodeling is done it's going to be great but really think people should be warned ahead of time of work and mess.

No frills but comfortable stay...

Liked: The breakfast was surprisingly good (scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes and sausage links, along with the usual continental breakfast fare. The room was comfortable. The staff we encountered were friendly.
Disliked: The hotel is under renovation! We did not know that. (The reasonable holiday price may reflect this though.) The person who checked us in was apologetic. While we weren't planning on using the gym or pool, both are closed. The lobby was torn up and in our room, it was obvious the renovation had started, but with odd, random things (like the iron brackets taken out of the wall and the iron resting on the sink, the shampoo and shower gel also removed out of their brackets in the shower).

If I have to go...

Liked: The breakfast was much better than all other places we've stayed in the last several years.. Although the location was under remodel, staff went out of their way to make everything good.
Disliked: N/A
