Comfortable, clean and affordable

Liked: The room was a perfect size. It was 2 adults, a 4 yr old and 1 yr old twins. The room was very comfortable and clean. The hotel itself was very inviting. the lobby was clean and smelled great. The front desk staff was very nice.
Disliked: It didn't have anything to do with the hotel itself. It was when I was making the reservation. I was thinking that I was booking at the Best Western that was further up the highway and it wasn't even though I had it pulled up on the site. I don't know what happened that it ended up booking this on. Make sure when booking you look at the names of the hotels I wanted the Best Western Plus Lackland and I booked Best Western near Lackland. Either way we still had a great stay and hotel was great. I just wanted the other one because it was closer to my brother's home.

Not exceptional but good

Liked: It was clean and comfortable. Nothing to write home about but for the money just ok. The pool was right outside our room. It looked well maintained. We did not take advantage of it though. Breakfast was good.
Disliked: This may sound funny but I hated the toilet paper! Bring your own. I can understand trying to save money but this was excessive. You can barely call it 1 ply. It didn't even have perferations for tearing. The other big deal was the smokers! The people right next to us just stood right outside their door. Which happened to be right next to our door. Ashes and debris were all over the ground. They were nice people otherwise. I don't know what could have been done differently though.

Liked: the size of the room was perfect for our needs. it was just a 10min drive to SeaWorld
Disliked: the frig was really cooling and the air wasn't really cooling either. Breakfast started and ended super early. no kitchenette either

Not too bad overall but...

Liked: Overall facility was decent. Breakfast selection was not too bad.
Disliked: Hotel room was not very clean. If you walked on carpet your feet would turn black. Very dusty and A/C vents had black mold. Definitely needs major deep cleaning!
