Liked: Very convenient location for visiting family. Good breakfast
Disliked: Had requested a room suitable for someone with mobility problems but the room was up two flights of stairs with luggage. Shower above the bath so he couldn’t use - no hand rails. Curtains were ripped so wouldn’t shut properly, one light wasn’t working which seemed to affect the tv zapper.

Uncomfortable

Disliked: The bed was like sleeping on a slab of concrete, but we didn't sleep as it was so uncomfortable. The pillows was so flat they where wafer thin. We was only given one small towel and a bath towel but there was two people staying. The toilet was dirty and pee stains on the floor, the shower head was full of limescale. I was not impressed with our room at all.

Liked: Lovely area, beautiful old building. Communal areas were spacious and nicely decorated. Comfortable bed and nice pillows . Towels were a decent size .
Disliked: Breakfast was a bit disappointing for the cost ( £10 in advance, £13 on the day) food was fairly budget ( mini cereal packets, choice of white or brown sliced bread, supermarket type juice ) coffee machine didn’t work until member of staff realised that water hadn’t been refilled from night before. She then took out 2 x large bottles of water from under table and poured 1 into the other , however , the long tube which went into the water was just put down on the carpet while she did this ! Not hygienic . Room decor was dated, the bathroom window was mouldy, the bath plug didn’t keep the water in and the bedside light on 1 side didn’t work. The house keeping staff left the outside door wide open ( the door lets them access the laundry easily ) even when no member of staff was around. Anyone could then just walk into the hotel, surely a security issue . We shut it for our own safety.
