Great place to stay.

Liked: Staff were great, hotel was friendly and clean.
Disliked: Beds are uncomfortable, hard and could feel springs of the mattress. Room very hot.

Excellent location for our family...

Liked: Lovely to have drinks on the terrace as our group progressively checked in, good bar service.Easy check-in, friendly and helpful staff on hand to assist with bags, and help for those less mobile in our group.Great evening meal, pre-ordered for a large group and served exactly as ordered - brilliant. Good choice of fresh and tasty buffet brekkie options the next morning too.

Liked: Hotel was lovely,great views across and down the valley,all the staff we met were very friendly and helpful.breakfast was very good,help yourself and a good choice.room was very clean,bed comfy and the bathroom was clean and a great shower

Beautiful stay.

Liked: Amazing views. Great customer service. Breakfast was good.
Disliked: The bathroom door did not lock. The heating gets turned off at night... so the nights were a little cold.

Perfect stay, at a perfect...

Liked: Absolutely everything, turning up the drive & thinking WOW!Going inside, looking the the bar/restaurant & our room and thinking WOW WOW WOW!The staff were so attentive & polite throughout.The rooms were well equipped, everything we needed was there, adequate tea making facilities with plenty to make at least 6 maybe more drinks.
Disliked: If I had to mention anything, it’d be the creaking floorboards, but that’s a minor grumble for an old beautiful building

Bath trip

Liked: staff friendly and nothing too much trouble.
Disliked: unable to have dinner in the dining room due to a large group for both nights.
