With stunning views of the valley and 3 acres of private grounds this traditional Georgian country house has a delightful village setting in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Originally founded during the reign of King James I the Limpley Stoke Hotel today offers individually designed rooms with attached bathroom well equipped with modern comforts and facilities. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel and many of the rooms have magnificent views over the valley. The hotel offer a number of dining options including anything from a simple bar snack to the full à la carte menu available in the recently refurbished restaurant. Our stay, was pleasurable, save...

Liked: Lovely location. Very clean. Some members of staff were great. Unfortunately there was a power cut, nothing to do with the hotel, however the staff did nothing to soften the blow. We were told it was likely to be for several hours and there would be no hot food. The power came,eon sooner than expected but there was still no hot food. Nor was they anything offered as compensation, say hot drinks and a sandwich, Fresh coffee wasnt available before 8am the following morning.

Really lovely very good value...

Liked: Excellent customer service. Initial problem with TV and whilst at dinner, staff sorted out and went out of their way to come down and inform me. Could not have been more helpful.
