Great value for money and...

Liked: Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Lovely touch of drinks and chocolate in the room. Great central location
Disliked: With it being in the centre it was a bit noisy and there was a homeless person in the doorway. The room was a bit of maze to find whilst carrying all our bags. Note - if you book through an agent like booking.com you have to pay extra to park your car

A deep kip and the...

Liked: The fact that, as a cyclist, my bike too was given a room (The Charter Room) which, as a pedalling pariah and the scourge of all mobile meanderers, was both surprising and comforting (in that it was safe & secure); it certainly contributes to my determination to return and enjoy the hotel (breakfast!) and the 'city' to a greater extent and to explore (on said velocipede) its environs more fully.
