ICU stay with son
Liked: Nothing
Disliked: Rude staff , room stunk like stahl smoke all around bad only rented cause my husband was put in I C U I lapeer hosp and had no where to stay paid 120 for a weeknight for horrible service

For the love of Christmas...
Liked: Close to my events. New pool area is nice, but was unfortunately closed on Saturday after our event. Did accommodate us to be on first floor.
Disliked: They could have salted the drive area and some of the sidewalks better, could use a little dusting, and some of the doors could use an upgrade. I shouldn’t have to pull the door shut every time I leave it should automatically close(looks like someone tried to get in there without a key).

Cleanliness and Facilities were terrible......
Liked: Staff was courteous and polite
Disliked: Was in a jacuzzi room ..jacuzzi didn't work at all...was moved to a different room with a jetted tub only to find the tub and shower full of black mold everwhere so we could not use...facilities and cleanliness are terrible...staff was polite and courteous

Liked: Breakfast was an amazing breakfast. Hotel is clean but dated in the halls with a slight oder. Located within walking distance of many things.
Disliked: Most of the staff was nice but head of housekeeping was definitely not and the lady working the front desk was just plain rude. And after confirming when booking and again at check in and before I left my sleeping husband in the room that we needed a late checkout due to my daughter getting ready for her wedding there, they kicked us out. They wouldn't even work with us and tried to tell me they emailed me back that we couldn't have the extra time. I got no such email. This hotel is overpriced for being in just Lapeer. If the price was lower I'd understand the dated hall areas and odd smells and maybe disgruntled employees. I didn't book the room to spend the night, I needed the room for the bride to get ready. It was the whole point of the room. The really ruined the morning of her wedding.
