Exceptional

Liked: I loved the new set up in the restaurant, I was allowed to eat breakfast and dinner in a new section with my dogs. This made a massive difference to my stay.
Disliked: Nothing

Excellent hotel

Liked: Staff very helpful. Room was clean and had everything in it that we needed. Plenty of lounge areas to sit it. Breakfast staff very helpful.
Disliked: It was all very good, no complaints.

Disliked: The road works right outside the hotel, we were unable to use the lounges due to the ground work machinary, traffic lights and fumes.There was also work carried out during the night, one night at 2pm it was particularly bad.The hotel did not inform us that these road works were being undertaken, as we would have postponed our visit.My husband had had heart surgery in early July, so we chose the Lansdown so that we could use the lounges and enjoy the views during the afternoon whilst Geoffrey rested, it was so disappointing not to be able to use the lounges.

Comfortable stay on the seafront...

Liked: The hotel is on the seafront, so opening the window or door to listen to the crashing of the waves is a large part of the appeal for me. Steady improvements in the town are gratifying to see. The great chalk cliffs of the Seven Sisters are nearby.
