Brilliant!

Liked: Breakfast was great. I ate there in the evening and that was exceptional.The lounge and bar were very relaxing.
Disliked: Bigger bed in single room

Brilliant stay

Liked: Single room with a sea view, comfy bed, large window, deep bath, fabulous breakfast and lovely staff. The location was good on a personal level, as close enough to restaurants and excellent walks on the coast and cliffs.
Disliked: The pelican crossing lights outside flashing on the walls. In some places, the council will put shades on the residential sides of the globes.

Liked: I stay at the Lansdowne frequently as I like it's comfy atmosphere, friendly staff, and beachfront location. My single room with sea views was very clean and comfortable with plenty of storage space and tea/coffee making facilities. TV reception was good. Bed had a lovely deep mattress, there was very little noise, so enjoyed a good night's sleep.
Disliked: The wi-fi throughout the building (and I've stayed in various rooms over the years) is awful. Fortunately, I wasn't trying to work during my stay. The hotel does need to look into how it can produce a much better signal for guests. The breakfast arrangements changed last year - it used to be that breakfast was served freshly cooked at your table along with tea/coffee and a nice selection of toast. Now it's all self-service and the quality isn't as good with food becoming dried up under the catering lamps, particularly the fried eggs.

Liked: All perfect, the hotel is very beautiful, staff super polite, food delicious, location perfect. NOTHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT!!!! loved our room with seaview!!!
