Very frustrating!

Good

Liked: Good location, close to a number of diners, restaurants, stores etc.The room was clean, spacious. The bed was comfortable.
Disliked: The complementary breakfast was disappointing to say the least, when compared with other Best Western hotels I had stayed at recently. Very little variety, no cereals, little choice of cooked breakfast. Also, one one occasion, requested housekeeping staff to service the room and this was not done .

Liked: Beds were comfortable
Disliked: Breakfast was a little chaotic and the lady in the kitchen started cleaning up the breakfast before 9 am - even though breakfast was until 9.

Average. Fair for the price....

Liked: Good distance from downtown St. Louis. Staff were all very nice, helpful, pleasant. Liked that they offered free breakfast, had an attendant to help if needed for breakfast. Also they have a Chili’s connected to the hotel-that was nice to have a cheap bar option close by when winding down for the night or could be nice if you wanted some late night food without having to drive.
Disliked: The bathroom in our room was functional but just looked a little outdated-some paint chipping at the bottom of the tub, etc. Bathroom was a little tight-only one person could get ready at a time, but it wasn’t really a problem for us. Also, I did like that they offered free breakfast-had the usual eggs/bacon/biscuits/some muffins. The eggs were cold so I didn’t even eat them. Also, I didn’t use it but saw many people struggle with the waffle maker, I think it may have been broken the day we went. But can’t really complain too much about that as it was free, I do like that they at least offered a free breakfast.

Disliked: I think the free breakfast could be improved. The amenities in the bathroom was not enough.

For a last minute booking,...

Liked: We stayed on the first floor and the room had a sliding glass door that you could go in and out of instead of fighting the crowd of people in the lobby who were trying to make their way to breakfast.
Disliked: N/A
