Typical best western hotel but...

Liked: The staff. My wife and I were 2 hours early for check in but as we were waiting in reception the reception staff realised my wife was quite poorly so immediately found us an available room. And from then on for our 2 night stay they couldn’t have been more helpful or attentive. They were brilliant. Also loved the massive comfy bed. Free parking.
Disliked: If there were any faults we didn’t see them as the staff were so exceptional

Excellent hotel but could do...

Liked: A really nice hotel with very welcoming staff. The leisure facilities are excellent and we were able to do a fitness class without additional charges..The bed was huge and comfortable. The only thing I would say is that the room could do with a lick of paint and a new carpet but otherwise very good. We stayed two nights and could opt out of the cleaning on the first day and you could help yourself to additional tea bags and milk. It is close to the beach and we took the bus to Edinburgh easily.

Liked: This was a very good place to stay on the edge of Edinburgh (with convenient trains and buses into the centre). Our room was large and comfortable and the facilities were good. Quite a good breakfast.
Disliked: Nothing really: this was as expected and we were happy with our stay.

Liked: I was able to check in an hour early, everything was really good. The bathroom was huge and I would recommend this hotel for sure. The bus stop to the city is 1 min walk from hotel entrance.
