Staff made it, especially May...

Liked: Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and very good value
Disliked: The property is extremely tired. It’s badly needing a deep clean and complete refurbishment very set in 70s.

Disliked: The shower height was too low. The bathroom has a sloping ceiling, making standing in the shower very difficult. Also, the shower temperature was too low for comfort.

Liked: Liked the lounge area adjacent to the bedroom, which gave lots of light. STAFF ARE OUTSTANDING.Breakfast is delicious.Gaynor in the dining room is an absolute ray of sunshine. She never stops and works really hard.Hazel, Alex and Mandy running reception bend over backwards to help clients. Rooms cleaned by very friendly cleaning team - fabulous pool. Lovely homely atmosphere. Quick 10 minute walk to town.
Disliked: Price was expensive, and breakfast was not included. (I overlooked this when booking as we had breakfast last stays -direct with BW) We'll go that route again. Bedroom very dark as building being done outside the window. NB. Parking is extra. Evidence of building work going on at the back of the hotel, but in the four days we were there, thankfully, no noise was heard.
