Liked: Room and hotel was spotlessly clean, shower was excellent, kettle/tea/coffee provided in the room, location was very walkable to seafront/town centre. It is a very quiet, well located hotel.
Disliked: The info on Booking.com doesn't make clear that parking is an additional cost. Other hotels specify how much additional the parking costs in the list of amenities or that parking is on the street.

Liked: Ideally situated very close to the heart of it. 5 mins walk to the beach and the town centre of that. Lovely modern chic room. Spotlessly clean.

Liked: Good sized queen room, with very good sized bathroom. Great breakfast with gluten-free bread on request. Very helpful and friendly staff. Central courtyard garden good to look out on. Only a few minutes walk to Plage de la Cote des Basques, with superb views to the mountains of Spain. Also close to the town centre.
Disliked: It was no problem for us but just note that there aren't internal curtains (other than net curtains), you have to lean out and close the wooden shutters in authentic French style to have a dark room.
