Liked: Clean , tidy and good sized room. It clearly had been decorated recently
Disliked: The location was poor , there is nothing around for miles. The lighting in the room was very poor and no light whatsoever in the corner of the room which I would have expected, whoever designed the rooms lighting clearly didn’t think about it, as well as having no plug sockets by the bed. The staff although professional it just seemed that they didn’t want to be there.

Great value hotel.

Liked: Great location, good value, has electric car chargers, friendly staff, spacious room. Evening meal homely, we’ll cooked & reasonably priced.
Disliked: Currently being refurbished so pool was shut. Rooms being refurbished as well. My room was a bit dated but comfortable & spacious.

Liked: Rooms and fitness room.
Disliked: Lack of staff, bar area and dining room very tired.. Also being woken up at 5.30/6.00 am by lorries/vans starting up and if youve got an electric car forget trying to charge it because all the bays are taken up by diesel vans. Felt more like a truck stop than a hotel.

Liked: Receptionist was very nice and professional.
Disliked: Turned up after 6 hour drive to be told my room had been allocated so they had put me in a twin bed room with Z bed . Way too small so housekeeping hadn’t set up the Z bed. And a Zbed is not appropriate! Receptionist spoke with the manager and they said they could put one of my children in another room which was fine but I would have to pay an extra £50 when it was their error !!! No hospitality what so ever . Cancelled my booking had to find another hotel for the weekend and cancelled y booking for the end of the month as well as not prepared to stay in such an unprofessional and unwelcoming place!!!!!
