Good Hotel, location is questionable

Liked: Very clean, nice shower, very easy to check in. Views from the breakfast hall were amazing.
Disliked: Staff were friendly but some were far more attentive than others, e.g if some staff were not on the breakfast shift, I would not be offered a coffee.Although my fault for not doing my research, please consider location before booking this hotel, if you are planning to travel to the city centre often, it is far from ideal, taxis were intent on giving high prices, and the walk to the metro station was down steep winding hills, so bring good shoes!Air conditioning in my room did not work.

Reasonably nice hotel

Liked: It’s got a lovely view from the roof terrace or if you manage to get one of the rooms with a view. The staff are really friendly and helpful. It’s a lovely walk along the harbour into Naples once you’ve either walked down or got the funicular down from the hotel.
Disliked: Our aircon didn’t work so our room was very warm and stuffy (it was only February!) and if the window was open there was a lot of traffic noise. It was also quite a long journey into Naples as the walk to the station was 20 minutes unless you got the funicular, and the walk up I do not recommend unless you like uphill walks! Also the roof terrace bar is very expensive, we were charged €5 for a coke, so avoid getting drinks up there. They don’t seem to mind you sitting on the roof terrace without buying anything in the day.
