Hotel better than expected as...

Liked: The breakfast spread was perfect, not too much, just all the right things. The coffee and hot chocolate were very tasty and plentiful.

Liked: Excellent location, the hotel was clean and quiet. Rooms had enough storage space for 2 people for the short stay. Good shower, filtered water available at the lobby
Disliked: Rooms were a bit small but it's not surprising for Paris. View from the window led to the shaft, they gave only 2 coffee pods each day. Shower gel and shampoo was too watery felt like it was diluted with water.

Liked: There weren’t really any dislikes, the rooms are a little small but this is common especially in Paris so it was not an issue for us

Great place to stay!

Liked: Very welcoming staff. Comfortable, spotlessly clean room. Good breakfast with plenty of choice (the homemade yogurt is lovely!). Plenty of good places to eat nearby.
Disliked: We would have appreciated it if the water decanter was refilled by staff when they cleaned our room each morning, rather than our having to take it to reception for refilling. But this was only a small concern.

Liked: Friendly staff at the reception, tidy room, walking distance from Gare du Nord and Gare de l'est, many theatres close-by, lively neighbourhood with interesting restaurants.
Disliked: The room was so small that it took careful planning for two people to move around
