Good stay overall

Liked: The view of the cathedral was beautiful.The location was great.The complementary tissues and shoe polish were a nice touch. Breakfast was fine, and also had a lovely cathedral view.The room was clean and I appreciated the spare pillows and blanket in the cupboard.Staff members were all very nice. Overall, it was a good hotel to stay at for one night.
Disliked: Nothing major, but a few details could be improved: The room didn't smell very nice. There were paint stains in the bathtub. The double-bed was small and positioned against the bathroom wall (only accessible from one side). That wasn't an issue for me as I was alone, but won't be very comfortable for a couple. A little noisy (noise coming from the corridor and the adjacent room).

Disliked: room cold. central heating not on, or not reaching my radiator. in winter a guest expects the room to be warm on arrival I wrapped at night to a cold room and stayed cold all night

Perfect location for what we...

Liked: Location and decor. Comfortable and walkable everywhere. Enjoyed the breakfast and the view of the cathedral from the breakfast room.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: The quietness, the view from room 32, the extreme helpfulness and friendliness and intelligence of the staff, especially Sophie and Juann, the location near the beautiful botanical garden of the school of medicine and the nearby restaurants. Room 32 was spacious and gracious. Bathroom of room 32 is a pearl. And the cost was reasonable.
Disliked: Nothing.
