Good stay overall

Liked: The view of the cathedral was beautiful.The location was great.The complementary tissues and shoe polish were a nice touch. Breakfast was fine, and also had a lovely cathedral view.The room was clean and I appreciated the spare pillows and blanket in the cupboard.Staff members were all very nice. Overall, it was a good hotel to stay at for one night.
Disliked: Nothing major, but a few details could be improved: The room didn't smell very nice. There were paint stains in the bathtub. The double-bed was small and positioned against the bathroom wall (only accessible from one side). That wasn't an issue for me as I was alone, but won't be very comfortable for a couple. A little noisy (noise coming from the corridor and the adjacent room).

Disliked: room cold. central heating not on, or not reaching my radiator. in winter a guest expects the room to be warm on arrival I wrapped at night to a cold room and stayed cold all night
