Liked: Close to Central Station of Blackburn.The room was spacious. Room 33 is at the junction of 2 main streets.The bed was big if your heigth is 190cm +.The mattress was comfy too.
Disliked: Typical noisy central location hotel with inadequate insulation both acoustic and thermal. Windows are single glazed wooden frames that don't close well. Room 33 has a renovated bathroom with black tiles. However, the tiles around the toilet are not fastened with the floor, thus moving when stepping on.There was no temperature setting for air-conditioning but the room was not too cold.Expect heavy traffic noise up to 23-24:00.If you are recommended to go and get a burger from Castle King read carefully the reviews. Do not expect a typical burger. There are plenty of better options near by walkable distance.

Liked: Lovely hotel within easy walking distance of shopping. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and comfortable bed.

Disliked: No bar/communal area, couldn't get access into hotel until after 3.30 it was locked
