Disliked: Original room provided was for disabled people, was cold, ground floor and with toilet not working properly We're quickly moved to another room which was excellent

DISAPPOINTING A LOVELY HOTEL SPOILT

Liked: IT WAS CLOSE TO WHERE WE NEEDED TO BE
Disliked: THE HOTEL HAS GOT ASYLUM SEEKERS IN WHICH WE WERE NOT TOLD OF BEFORE OUR VISIT THERE WAS NO FOOD OFFERING IN THE EVENINGS AT WEEKEND AGAIN WERE NOT TOLD OF ONE OF THE SAID ASYLUM SEEKERS WAS VERY DRUNK IN RECEPTION WHICH MADE US FEEL UNEASY AS THEY WERE ALL MALE. ROOM COULD OF BEEN CLEANER AS THERE WAS COBWEBS EVERY WHERE TOILET WOULDNT FILL UP ITS SUCH A SHAME AS WE HAVE STAYED THERE MANY TIMES AS I WAS BORN IN WELWYN GARDEN CITY AND ALWAYS USE IT WHEN I VISIT BUT UNFORTUNATELY WILL NOT STAY AGAIN

Liked: Top marks only for cleanliness.
Disliked: No warning of lack of full breakfast until after I’d booked: ‘Express breakfast’ just insulting. Virtually no heating in room on very cold day; “Unfortunately the heating doesn’t come on until 5pm”! Had to go out till evening.
