Terrible

Disliked: There was a sports team of about 15 teenagers staying there and they were running up & down the halls and yelling and laughing until after midnight! I called down to the front desk at 9:45 pm and she said there was a curfew and they would all be in there rooms and quiet. That didn't happen and no one did anything about it. Very frustrating!!

Convenient location in the center...

Liked: Friendly and welcoming front desk staff. We had a slight snafu with our booking, but it was resolved quickly and cheerfully by the staff and manager. Rooms are pretty spacious with a fridge, microwave, and plenty of cabinet space. The separate sink for the kitchen area was convenient. The continental breakfast had some nice selections and the dining area is pleasant. Excellent location within easy walking distance of downtown Coos Bay and the boardwalk, and an easy drive to many beautiful nature areas.
Disliked: I dislike the trend of hotels putting the bathroom sinks in the main room rather than in the bathroom itself. We noticed a little bit of dirt and staining on some of the sheets and towels. Parking can get a bit tight at night and you might have to walk around from other sides of the hotel to your room.

Disliked: I asked for a ground floor but there wasn’t one available. My husband has COPD so I asked again, the front desk said you’ll have to take the stairs to the second floor. The next day I went to look for the ice machine and found a ramp that led to the second floor. We had to haul all of our suitcases up that flight of stairs to the second floor. Maybe, in the future, your front desk staff could let people with disabilities know there is an alternate route to the second floor.

Liked: Pool and breakfast, all of the staff were GREAT!
Disliked: For the price we expected a more up to date rooms.

Good family friendly hotel with...

Liked: The pool was big. There was laundry facility on site and you could buy washing powder as well. Breakfast was yummy and had good selection.
Disliked: There were two stories and only stairs, no elevator. There was a lot of chlorine in the pool, burned our kids' eyes.
