Overall, a decent stay

Liked: Friendly staff,quiet,indoor pool and spa
Disliked: Pool was cold, jets didn’t work properly on the hot tub, spring mattress was uncomfortable so we didn’t sleep well, room smelled a little musty

Safe place to stay

Liked: Breakfast was great and the people working in the morning were so friendly and pleasant - even the housekeepers cleaning rooms were nice! The room was very quiet and it was a peaceful area regardless of being right on the highway.
Disliked: The two women working the counter when we checked in had horrible attitudes and had zero interest in any small talk. They did not make us feel welcome at all.The beds were horribly uncomfortable and the Wifi was probably one of the worst I've ever had in a hotel.

Liked: FIRST OF ALL THE STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. THE ROOM WAS QUITE COMFORTABLE AND THE BED WAS HEAVENLY! I WISH MY BED AT HOME WAS AS COZY! THE BREAKFAST WAS QUITE YUMMY! ALL IN ALL, A GREAT EXPERIENCE AND WE'LL BE COMING BACK. THANKYOU!! CAN'T SAY WE LOVED YOUR TRAFFIC, HOWEVER! YIKES!!

Liked: I was told by another guest there were bed bugs so I went somewhere else

Disliked: There was a sports team of about 15 teenagers staying there and they were running up & down the halls and yelling and laughing until after midnight! I called down to the front desk at 9:45 pm and she said there was a curfew and they would all be in there rooms and quiet. That didn't happen and no one did anything about it. Very frustrating!!

Convenient location in the center...

Liked: Friendly and welcoming front desk staff. We had a slight snafu with our booking, but it was resolved quickly and cheerfully by the staff and manager. Rooms are pretty spacious with a fridge, microwave, and plenty of cabinet space. The separate sink for the kitchen area was convenient. The continental breakfast had some nice selections and the dining area is pleasant. Excellent location within easy walking distance of downtown Coos Bay and the boardwalk, and an easy drive to many beautiful nature areas.
Disliked: I dislike the trend of hotels putting the bathroom sinks in the main room rather than in the bathroom itself. We noticed a little bit of dirt and staining on some of the sheets and towels. Parking can get a bit tight at night and you might have to walk around from other sides of the hotel to your room.
