Absolutely fabulous

Good location, nice returb rooms

Liked: Cleanliness, gym and location, plus room was nice
Disliked: Check in wasn’t very smooth. Stood there waiting whilst the receptionist was on the phone for quite a while and I was on a tight schedule having driven 6 hours down to the hotel to go straight out. I had a lot of heavy luggage and was told the room was up just one flight of stairs but it was two flights of stairs. I asked if there was a lift but she just said we have one but it would mean you have to walk all over to get back to your room. So that part was stressful and not great. The staff member that checked me out was lovely and positive and helpful.

Nice hotel but certain things...

Disliked: 1. All wall lights and lamps didn't work2. Hairdryer didn't work3. Couldn't get through corridors due to the long queue for the bar for the Christmas parties4. Couldn't order food at the same bar due to the long queue for the bar for the Christmas parties5. Ordered room service instead from reception. Food arrived 2 mins after I got back and the bacon and the sweet potato fries were black and burnt. My drink was also missing6. the food was replaced but the salad was missing the croutons 7. Room was way too hot with no thermostat8. Glass bottles were repeatedly emptied into the bins all evening and I could hear this clearly from my room9. I could hear the music all night long.10. At 6.45am the fire alarm went off but it was only my room which had to be evacuated11. After getting back to my room after breakfast my key didn't work, probably due to the electrics linked to the fire alarm.
