Liked: I liked the overall look of the hotel. I'm told it was remodeled 5 years ago and everything is in good shape. The entire location was clean and well kept. I loved the hot breakfast offered in the little nook across from the front desk. It's a nice way to start the day without having to go out and eat.The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Always a hello and a smile when passing by you. It's an excellent location as it's tucked off the main highway, but anything you could think of is nearby. During my two days there I used Walmart, CVS and AutoZone to take care of various things I needed to get done while visiting the area.
Disliked: I'm told that it's something that's going to be taken care of soon, but the TV setup was a little lacking and confusing at the time of my visit there. There was no channel guide station to help you know what is on and coming up at any given time. Some of the channels were mislabeled. For instance the Hallmark Channel came in on a channel that indicated it was Fox Business. This was the case in a couple other instances Also I didn't like the fact that the bathroom fan came on as soon as you turn the light on in there. It was noisy and not something I would have been using at all while shaving using the toilet and taking a shower. Also the light in the bathroom was extremely bright, so when getting up in the middle of the night to use the toilet It really hurt your eyes. Also that lighting was not over the mirror so to get a good look shaving or styling your hair you had to lean across the sink and get very close to the mirror. That said the bathroom was clean and otherwise very nice. It was a good value and a great location for the people I was visiting and now that I know there's so many other stores, restaurants, etc nearby it would definitely be a hotel I will stay at again when in the area.
