I would definitely stay at this hotel again, it met all our needs. I really liked the fact I was able to park right outside of my room.

Liked: Very clean; check in was great - the young lady who checked us in was so friendly and helpful. We had a problem with our TV due to the storms - our direct TV was knocked off line and the manager came as soon as we called to get it back on line.
Disliked: The coffee maker in our room didn't work, it leaked all over the tray, but we were able to get fresh coffee in the lobby.

Room was clean.

Liked: Location. Liked that each room had it's own door.
Disliked: There was a smell in the room. Possibly used to be a smoking room.

Enjoyed the stay and very convenient to the Yum Center.

Disliked: Would not check us in at 3. We had to wait until 3:45. Was told earlier check in time was 4.

First Impressions Are Everything

Liked: The motel is close to several shops and restaurants. Variety of food to choose from for breakfast, however I only ate it for one morning of my stay. I appreciated the separation of guests rooms to keep the noise level low. The lady at the desk Saturday morning was very helpful and accommodating to resolve the problem with my room. Plenty of parking. The heater in the room was great keeping the room warm on those chilly days. The shower was very nice with nice water flow.
Disliked: The beginning of my stay set the mood for the rest of my visit. The first night into the next morning there was a roach crawling up the restroom door and a little bug on the bed. Due to the gap under the entry door it's to be expected. However, one of the bedcovers had dried blood splatter on it, and blood splatter was on the wall under the mirror of the vanity. I went to the lobby the next morning to show pictures I had taken to the lady at the counter who was very apologetic and offered to have the room recleaned and issue me a different room. I was heading out for the day and didn't get back until later in the evening. When I returned to my room that evening, the room had not been cleaned. I went to the lobby and the young lady on duty this time was extremely rude. I told her the room hadn't been cleaned and I would like a different room. She acted as if I was being a bother to her, told me to get everything out of my room and put into the new room that she assigned to me, and to bring the key cards back to her. I should have gotten her name because she is definitely not a person to put at a counter to interact with people. Either she hates her job or she was bothered that I interrupted her with whatever she was doing in the back room. I gathered all of my belongings, put them in the newly assigned room, and took the room key cards back to the front desk. No "thank you", "I'm sorry", or "Is there anything else I can do to help make your stay better?" Nothing! The second room was very nice and clean, however the issues with the first room and the interaction with the young lady in the evening made for a not so welcoming stay.
