Very clean and the room with a whirlpool was a great value for the price. Nice clean whirlpool as well, as was the room and the hotel itself. Nice breakfast too.

Pleasant staff; rooms were clean and comfortable; breakfast was also very nice. It was our second visit this summer to the Grand Victorian Inn. We booked it because our first trip was pleasant and nice. I'm sure we will be doing it again when racing returns to Tioga Downs.

If we cannot do better...

Liked: Location was fine for a medical visit to Guthrie Sayre.Breakfast bar was good. Beds were comfortable.
Disliked: First room (202) no heat. Second room (203) heat made terrible noise. TV power cord was disconnected and I had to fish it out from behind the refrigerator and reconnect it. Then the remote failed to work and had to be switched with the one from room 202. Both remotes were physically broken with the front cover coming loose. If we ever return to visit Guthrie we will ask for handicap room. Toilet was much too low and the seat was the cheapest plastic on the market.

Disappointed but would still go...

Disliked: I accidentally left behind my headset and tripod for my phone. I called not long after I left. The person I spoke with said he would call me back and let me know. I know who this person is ; I remember him from my stay. I never heard back from him or anyone from the hotel regarding this matter. I know exactly where I left it and told him in detail where it was. It wasn't hard.... I also remember the housekeeping staff very well. Someone found it and kept it. There's definitely someone among the staff that is dishonest. This is disappointing because everything else was perfect. I loved my stay there. I left a really good review while I was staying there. I still recommend staying there because it was so nice. The staff was absolutely wonderful and I'm not going to put them down because of one dishonest person among them. I was the one who left stuff behind so I have to take my share of the blame. However, I do suggest keeping a close eye on your belongings and don't forget anything because you won't get it back...

Liked: Location and cost was perfect for our plans. Convenience store located directly across from the hotel is a great perk.
Disliked: The hot tub water was warm at best and the towels we received were not adequate for a pool.
