Simple Hotel in Lostwithiel

Liked: Compact room with comfortable bed, good shower and good wifi. Good location for Eden and the Lost Gardens. Lots of parking. We enjoyed the evening roast when we arrived. No alcoholic drinks served in the hotel - an interesting and brave decision by the owners! Overall, a good budget stay to extend our holiday in the area.
Disliked: All was good.

Disliked: very poor breakfast. no full English no bacon or sausage. no muesli. No ham or cheese for continental. Toaster produced warm damp bread.No alcohol available in bar or dining room.'

Nice stay

Comfortable and clean

Liked: I have stayed here a few times when working in the area, the staff are always friendly, the rooms clean and comfortable and the food tasty and good value. I love the breakfast options and usually go for the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs
Disliked: The bar has stopped serving alcohol, not sure why but it now only serves soft drinks. You are able to go to the local shop and bring in your own if you want a drink with your meal.

Comfortable and good value, good...

Liked: Solid wood bedsit cabinets and writing table in the room -- such a pleasant change from cheap laminated chipboard! Good quality fittings in he bathroom, a surprise at this price point. The dog-in-room kit was a nice touch (even tho we don't have a dog).
Disliked: Not much. The bed wasn't sufficiently supportive for my back, but others will enjoy the softness. And there's no attempt to do achingly cool style, which means the place felt a bit functional; but hey that's all we needed for a one-night stay.
