Down Hill Fast and Slighted.

Liked: I was given a room on the first floor which is for a handicap person, the air conditioner was not working, so I asked for another room and was given another handicap room on the first floor. I had an appointment to get to so I asked if I could get my things out of the room when I returned and that was okay with the attendant (Tracy). I forgot something in the room that I needed to take to my appointment and couldn't get back in the room. Had the key reset at least three times and still couldn't get back into the room. My husband went back to the front desk and ask if we could get some help getting back into the room and he stated that we had an appointment that we would be late for because of this inconvenience of not being able to get back into the room, The attendant proceeded to check in the guest rather that helping or even giving my husband a key to get back into the room so we could be on our way. She gave a young man a key to open our room, this guy was not even a guest at the hotel nor was he a employee of the hotel. I really hate to say but I feel like it was somewhat racial being that we a black people who are guest of the hotel and the young guy she gave the key to was a white man. I would not stay in this hotel again if my life depended on it. This is sad because this was one of the hotels we always stayed in when we visit Fort Myers, it has truly gone down hill and fast, not only do I feel slighted by the employee (Tracy) but the rooms smell mildewed and the air in the rooms do not work well.
