Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

Laurie, Kennett, visiting Charles Schwab Field Omaha Tue, 28 June 2022

Liked: Not much to like.
Disliked: Check in person was rude. We couldn't find the room; outside door was locked so we had to walk a mile to the room. Room smelled of smoke, BAD! It was a non-smoking room. Very sketchy area; will not stay here again!

Liked: Check in staff was great.
Disliked: Shower was too small; sheets were dirty and breakfast was not good.

At check in we had to wait 10-15 minutes for the front desk person. The hot tub was not working. And one other thing - on Sunday morning we went to breakfast at 9:30am and no one refilled anything! The motel was very clean. And good location for us.

Liked: Great location. Easy to find.

When we first met the receptionist, she did not acknowledge our presence. She was counting some blue folders or something. Then the phone rang and we had to wait for that. Not once did she say, I'll be right with you. I thought that was rude. The rooms were great though, very clean.

Disliked: Please refer to general comment.

Beware of check in times.

Liked: There was an indoor pool and the hours are late so you can enjoy the pool even if you have a late day. No spa but a decent sized pool. The beds were very very comfortable. Nice sized TV with a cool remote and can be voice activated like Alexa and when you move it the buttons glow, came in handy while lights are off and you want to change the channel.
Disliked: First of all I was there for my sons high school robotics championship. I was called at 3:15pm while I should have been watching my son's team, instead I received a call from an employee from this hotel asking if I was still going to need the room. That check in was at 3:00PM! It was crowded as this event was over 160 teams from USA and international. So we had to leave my son and rush to the hotel so they would NOT sell my room to other people who arrived for this event and did not book in advanced. I was not the only parent who suffered the saem horrible phone call. Three left and ran into the lobby the same time as me and with the same issue! Second all hotels I've ever stayed at had an elevator. Due to am injury I am not able to climb stairs. They put me on the second floor. No warning. The steps are insane. No way so I had to ask for a room n the ground floor. I had to prove I was hurt in order to get the room. Once in there the floor was wet, hairs were all over the tub, and sink. There was a puddle of water coming from the fridge. We were just over this but all hotels were packed. Then at night across from the hotel a see of homeless would put there tents up. We saw a guest take his car battery out and told us it gets rough there at night. Needless to say I would never come back.

Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

Laurie Fri, 4 April 2025

Disappointing

Liked: The property was clean and conveniently right off the freeway. However, I was placed in the room right by the exit where people entered and exited every hour of the night - not sure I want to know why people are coming and going at 3 am on a Wednesday. I think I would have slept better in my car.
