First room, bad. Second room...

Disliked: The first room we were given had bugs. and more came out as the night went on. The air conditioner smelled and we had to turn it off and open the window. But then of course we heard all of the traffic going by on the main road. We did go to the office and told them of the bugs and air, and she offered to change rooms but ending up by saying the maintenance would be by in the morning (we were staying 2 nights). After returning to the room, and the evening went on, more and more bugs were appearing (seem to be coming from the shower drain) and we couldn't sleep with the window open. Went back downstairs and she then did change our room. The second room was fine, no complaints. I wouldn't be giving a bad review if we had received this room first. Our second room was up to our expectations. Clean, comfortable, with just a slight smell from the AC after awhile. But this is probably due to Florida weather.

Renovated Room and Very Friendly...

Liked: Renovated room and updated room decor was very pleasant. Vivian at the front desk is a friendly, thoughtful and kindhearted. I particularly enjoyed sunrise and sunset at the Clewiston/Lake Okeechobee Canal Picnic Area!
