Liked: The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was very relaxed and welcoming.

Lovely location

Liked: The property is ideally placed to get to all the main attractions and beach, without being close to all the noise. Great room and lovely hotel. It was surprisingly clean and up to date for Blackpool!
Disliked: The door gaps. We unfortunately had exceptionally noisy people on our floor who came in late and woke us up having full conversations in the corridor. The gap under the is so big that it sounded like they were in my room. Plus the light that streamed in was a nightmare. The quilts are very small. I was in a twin and the quilt barely covered the bed so once you were in, if you moved it just fell off

Liked: Young lady in the restaurant, serving breakfast, was excellent, polite, knowledgeable and extremely efficient.
Disliked: The handle on the door of the bathroom was defective, we did not have a TV changer in the room and there were chips and some cereal under the bed.The older gentlemen who booked us in lacked customer service skills, and prioritise his admin task over the customer. He resolved the problem regarding the TV changer but saw fit to walk straight into our room when we answered the door. He wanted to test the TV changers but did not seek our permission, we were ready for bed when the problem arose. He should have a. Asked permission or b. Preferably, given them to us to try ourselves.

Disliked: The people upstairs were very noisy and banged around quite a lot

Friendly warm staff hotel was...

Liked: It was really clean! Parking was easy! Not far to walk into the centre of Blackpool. Staff were very friendly and professional and very helpful.
Disliked: Tea, coffee was out of date in our room but 6mth out of date!

STAYING IN BLACKPOOL IN JANUARY

Liked: Breakfast great, help yourself. Beds very comfortable. Close to seafront, trams. A bit of a walk to the Winter Gardens so you need to be able to walk, tram or taxi Staff good and friendly.
Disliked: Bar could stay open later. Although there are lifts to all floors, once out it was a bit of a up and down experience on stairs to get to it. If unstable with walking, best tell them in advance and get a room nearer the lifts.

Great nights sleep

Liked: Location is very good and view from the bedroom is beautiful on a bright morning. Lovely helpful staff and my room was spotlessly clean, breakfast was a very good selection
Disliked: That i had to get out of such a comfy bed
