Disappointing

Liked: Bed linen and towels changed and I only stayed two nights.
Disliked: Light out in bathroom. Shower didn't work. Bedside light didn't work. Not made very welcome when we asked if we could have a drink in the restaurant bar area and sent to Pub. Breakfast took forever and we were in a hurry for a funeral.

Liked: Room was lovely. Good Location. Accommodation was good value for money
Disliked: At Breakfast I (Mr Dixey) was not on any list. I was given a dry bit of toast and after 1 hr 20 minutes nothing else arrived so I left!

Liked: Dinner and breakfast were good, waiting staff were pleasant.
Disliked: The rooms are so dated that this hotel is bordering on shocking, i paid £108 for 1 night in room 216, on entering the room, I saw there were hairs on the floor in the bathroom, the bed was ok but the two pillows would be better described as napkins, I could not take a shower in the morning as I could not get any cold to run and it would have been worthless anyway as there nothing but a dribble coming from the shower head. This hotel needs to stop offering accomodation and become a restaurant only or spend a significant amount on renovating the rooms. The reception staff did not even ask how the stay was, I assumed they already knew, I didn't even bother to raise it, I will never stay here again and will be telling all my colleagues at the local port never to allow people to stay here.
