Hotel Description
The Blackbutt Hotel is a suburban delight offering local pub hospitality great food and entertainment. Rooms are located on the 2nd floor above hotel with access via elevator. All rooms have their own ensuite TV fridge tea/coffee making facilities iron and board some rooms have a desk. Room service is available during restaurant hours. Parking - is located across cul de sac at the rear of hotel with entry via basement of the hotel. Reception - can be found in the one stop shop with newsagent post office and bottle shop from 6am to 8pm Monday - Saturday; Sunday 7am - 8pm. Check in outside these hours needs to be pre-arranged. We are a short drive to the John Hunter Hospital Hunter Stadium Newcastle Entertainment Center and Westfield Kotara.

Good location but in desperate...

Liked: The location was perfect and the staff member that checked me in was amazing. Also great water pressure.
Disliked: The bed. It’s like a rock. Was so uncomfortable. There were also some strange marks on the walls. Along with small chunks out of the wall.

Highly recommended, would definitely come...

Liked: Convenient location for hospitals, the reason for my stay. Great value, very comfortable and modern room, felt safe and secure with passkey access only and lift to accommodation level, pub below but no noise at all, great breakfast, and extremely warm and friendly staff.

Excellent value for money good...

Liked: The staff especially Karen were excellent. The room was comfortable and the location great.
Disliked: A little more attention to the room service the room was very clean when I arrived however it really was a minimal service during my stay of one week
