Hotel Description
The Blackbutt Hotel is a suburban delight offering local pub hospitality great food and entertainment. Rooms are located on the 2nd floor above hotel with access via elevator. All rooms have their own ensuite TV fridge tea/coffee making facilities iron and board some rooms have a desk. Room service is available during restaurant hours. Parking - is located across cul de sac at the rear of hotel with entry via basement of the hotel. Reception - can be found in the one stop shop with newsagent post office and bottle shop from 6am to 8pm Monday - Saturday; Sunday 7am - 8pm. Check in outside these hours needs to be pre-arranged. We are a short drive to the John Hunter Hospital Hunter Stadium Newcastle Entertainment Center and Westfield Kotara.

Ideal for my medical stay...

Liked: The proximity to John Hunter Hospital, the convenience store/ bottle shop downstairs, meals available. Had everything required
Disliked: The colour of the walls, to me it felt dark and dreary, others would say moody and snug. Perspective, I was spending all day at the hospital so when I got back it seemed heavy.

Will go back, Good feed...

Liked: Good rooms, clean, helpful staff, good food and beer, live music, lots of room to move around.
Disliked: No spoons in the rooms for a coffee.
