Very good

Liked: I actually wish I could’ve stayed here longer. The hotel was very clean - appears to have been recently remodeled I think. Polite staff. I quite liked the location, which was in walking distance of several restaurants along El Cajon Blvd.

Liked: Clean and very conveniently located to Hillcrest.
Disliked: The only issue were the bed and the pillows were quite uncomfortable. Definitely had a back ache after this weekend.

Decent economical and comfortable stay...

Liked: Clean and conveniently located.
Disliked: I asked for a quiet upstairs room, but got a room directly on a busy street and there was quite a bit of traffic noise.

Liked: Parking is hit or miss. If the 6 spaces are full at the motel, on werkends, if you are back in the evening, plan on walking from wherever you can find steet parking. For me it was 3/4 of a mile away.
