Disappointing

Disliked: Old building, facilities aren’t as described.

Very poor and disappointing.

Liked: Due to poor reviews I avoided the food.
Disliked: The room was dirty and very worn. Toilet has excrement around and in it. Filthy and more a 2 star hotel. Do not stay here.

Looks beautiful but the stay...

Liked: The site was beautifully decorated. It was in a nice area and the front desk staff at night were very accommodating.
Disliked: The room service didn't take the order we made correctly. Then, when we called to ask about it, we were informed the kitchen was closed. The food we wanted was marked as available in their 24/7 menu, which they said again: "The kitchen is closed." The bar that they told us about on arrival was also closed (8:30 pm on a Wednesday night and it was closed). The room looked elegant. However, there were multiple stains on the carpets that looked like spilled wine. There was also what looked like water stains on some of the seats. There was a chip in the porcelain of the jacuzzi tub that was rough enough to cut the skin, as it was obviously not patched. The motion detector in the living room was completely covered in tape. I paid for the breakfast, which was not bad. Everything except the turkey cold cuts, I believe they were past their date as it tasted horrible. That aside, the rest of the breakfast was nice.When I spoke to the morning reception and showed them the pictures of what I found in the room, they were apologetic... however, given the premium price for a suite in what is considered a 5 star hotel for a romantic stay with my wife, I was disappointed that this was considered acceptable and that the next guest will likely end up with the same stains and flesh scratching damage in the jacuzzi.

Disliked: The rooms were moldy and very outdated. The carpet is worn out, and it has a large damaged area in the corner of the room. The hotel charged me an extra 200 pounds for checking in early. Usually, it is complementary if the room is ready .
