Liked: Cozy, comfortable room, outstandingly helpful and friendly staff, complimentary coffee in the lobby, quiet residential street.
Disliked: Unfortunately there was obvious mold at the edges of the bathtub. Other than that it would have been perfect.

Liked: easy to find and short (uphill) walk from the train station (St Davids)
Disliked: Noise intrusion through services pipes but I still slept well

Disliked: There was black mould in the shower, the shower head attachment was not fixed and had to be held in your hand. There was no bedside light, and as the bed was under the eaves, this was needed. Suggest fitting one one the side of cupboard by the bed.

Liked: My friend and I had a great night in Exeter. The Townhouse is excellent value and so close to the city centre. Very good value. Grateful we could leave our bags whilst we explored more check-out day. Highly recommend and will book again.

Very pleasant

Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and had a good selection of teas, coffee and biscuits. The hotel is in a quiet area and it was easy to get to where we wanted to go from there. The staff were also happy to look after ours bags after checkout.
Disliked: The walls are quite thin, but thankfully the people staying in the room next door were quiet.

Amazing location and beautiful room

Liked: Amazing location so close to everything and Exeter Central station. Large bed with private ensuite with everything we could ask for. Really lovely stay.
Disliked: Bath slightly grim looking but really wasn’t a problem as didn’t want a bath!!! Wouldn’t stop us from going back again.

No frills stay on Exeter

Liked: We only needed a room for one night in Exeter and wouldn’t have time for breakfast before our departure for the airport. Benzene Townhouse for the bill: pretty no frills but a comfortable bed and a bathroom and near the city centre
