Perfect for this weary overnight...

Liked: Perfect for an overnight stay, did not get the opportunity to enjoy the surroundings but the staff were friendly and very helpful. Would stay again - Breakfast was very good !
Disliked: No much !

Good location. Splendid exterior

Liked: The property was well located and looks stunning from the outside. Inside looks jaded in places so could use a face lift in places. Staff was approachable but could have been more welcoming. We felt like we were an inconvenience at times. The room t.v was not working properly and then they had an unadvertised live band kick off in the lounge below our room, normally I’m all for live music but when you tell reception your getting up early on a long drive south they don’t tell you. All we wanted was a nice relaxing evening but never got it

Comfortable

Liked: Beautiful hotel, very friendly staff, clean, comfortable, quiet, great value.
Disliked: Could have done with thicker pillows, they were a bit flat

Liked: Staff were very well organised and nothing too much trouble. Meals served very promptly and efficiently.Staff were on the ball !
Disliked: Large coach parties but it can't be helped if that is part of your main business.

Great stay

Liked: Lovely hotel, beautiful grounds. Unfortunately there was a issue with the boiler when I was staying however the staff couldn't have been more helpful and heaters were provided. As the sun was shining it made very little difference to my stay.

Liked: Lovely grand hotel. Great food, friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful grounds and surroundings. Very reasonably priced, pet friendly, our dog also had a great time.
