Poor

Liked: It was such a bad experience! The hotel staff was so unfriendly! We came to dublin for our birthdays. We wanted to have 3 mimomas for our birthday and the hotel staff was very rude to us, instead of explaining to us why it‘s not possible, they treated us like „lower people“. They told us „we are a higher class hotel and if we want to get drunk in the morning we should go to a pub or different hotels“ (IT WAS OUR BIRTHDAY AND WE JUST WANTED A GLASS OF MIMOSAS)On our last day, we were then insulted at breakfast.. the students who worked there said some rude stuff behind our backs (they didn‘t know they said it in our native language german). Not only that you had no peace at breakfast, because these student workers were constantly around you, you also can‘t even have breakfast without they talking shit to you!We told the hotelmanage, she was very friendly to us but said „ah that‘s just students“, not really what we wanted to hear in the situation. The rooms were clean but it constantly smelled like someone smoked weed.If you want to have a nice weekend or time in dublin, just stay away from this weird unfriendly place.

A really awful experience.

Liked: It was the second time for us staying at Belvedere in Dublin. We had nice time last year but this year it turned into a nightmare. We noticed the status of the room was degraded compared to last year: dirtiness and dust, shower without hot water… If you want to experience a food intoxication then you have to try the breakfast: the eggs weren’t fresh and they were smelling awful. We didn’t eat anything and the staff offered us a refund. In general the staff is very friendly and the only positive thing about our experience.
Disliked: Everything, it appears old and decadent, dirty and low quality.
