Completely misleading advertising and totally...
Liked: Location and coffee
Disliked: Misleading advertising, the place is nowhere near to the description on their website. The place has recently undergone a management change and is on a steep downward slope: no cooked breakfast, no complimentary champagne toasts at night (nor a liquor license for that matter), dead plants in front of rooms, dust and grimy windows, maid service would not clean the bathroom sink, empty dustbins or take away dirty coffee cups and glasses. At this price completely unacceptable!

Expectations drive everything, this one...
Liked: Excellent location, and parking facilities are good. Breakfast very variable. We stayed in a room so small you could hardly change your mind whilst in there. No work desk. Bathroom was OK. The linen was really good, made of bamboo.
Disliked: No work desk. Very small room. Are there not rules that you have to have certain type of furniture in the room? The door lock was not functioning, and after many attempts forwards and backwards with different staff, one finally told us - oh yes, that lock if faulty, here is a key! Room temperature can only be set up by reception staff, and if you want to change it you have to email or text! Come on! There are really good alternatives in this lovely city. And for all the reasons above, it is a very expensive place to stay.

Clean, comfortable rooms, historic building...
Liked: Beautiful historic building, located right in the center of Savannah’s historic district. Very clean room, spacious shower and very comfortable beds. Beautiful room. Room had a fridge and a safe.
Disliked: Having a trash can inside the bathroom would be nice. On the first day, breakfast could have been better - the staff wasn’t very attentive, didn’t clean the table we sat at (we had to push the dirty plates aside and eat on an uncleaned table). Even though we arrived at 08:30am, there wasn’t much breakfast left and it wasn’t filled up.Breakfast on the second day was excellent. Not being able to control the room temperature yourself is a bit odd (you have to call the staff for them to adjust it). External area could be taken care off a bit better (dead plants, bit messy etc).

Exceptional
Liked: The Bellwether was in a great location for visiting Savannah, easy to walk to restaurants, pubs etc. But also the Bellwether itself had lovely places to sit and chill, from front porch to patio at the back. The Continental Breakfast was perfect for starting off your day and you could get coffee and tea all day but also cocktails, wine and beer we're available to buy. Must say really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere.

Bad
Liked: The location maybe interesting.
Disliked: The parking is complicated, there are stairs that you have to bring your luggage through. The room was moist, with questionable cleaning. The worse anyway is that the site self portrays as if it was a five star hotel, and it's not either. It's best case scenario a guest house.Run away from it. We did it and left to another site.

Staying at The Bellweather House...
Liked: Made to order lattes for breakfast, Lavendar Lemonade with a "kick" for the afternoon and champagne toasts each evening feels luxurious and that's exactly what The Bellweather is, luxurious. We stayed in one of the honeymoon rooms/suites with a claw foot tub and kind size bed. It was everything I imagined and more. I loved chatting with Jocelyn who was "guest-managing" for a few weeks. She and Emily were incredibly kind, friendly and had great recommendations for food and fun.
Disliked: I don't think there was anything we didn't like. Really, we have a wonderful time.
